Committees

The College has three types of committees:

  • Statutory: committees that are required under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 and have specific roles and authorities
  • Non-statutory: standing committees that the Board created for a defined and ongoing purpose
  • Ad Hoc: committees that the Board created for a specific and short-term function

Committees are largely comprised of Board directors, with the addition of professional members who are not part of the Board (committee appointees).
