The College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO) is seeking a Registered Dietitian currently practicing dietetics and with proven leadership in dietetic practice for a part-time (3 days per week), permanent position as a Professional Practice Advisor & Policy Analyst. This is a critical position within the organization to advise and provide education to Registered Dietitians and other stakeholders on practice issues relating to standards, laws and ethics that impact the dietetic profession in Ontario. The position also involves designing and undertaking consultations and supporting the development of evidence-informed policy and regularly presenting to members on practice-related issues.
 
This role will work in collaboration with the Professional Practice Program and share work with another Professional Practice Advisor & Policy Analyst and will report to the Director of Professional Practice. The successful applicant will be part of a dedicated Professional Practice Program team that embodies the College’s mission:
 
“The College of Dietitians of Ontario regulates dietitians for public protection.”
 
This is a part-time, permanent position with a combination of working out of a home office and at the CDO Toronto office (once in-office operations resume). The role may require significant travel around Ontario during the College’s fall workshop series. You must therefore be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license. Excellent English oral and written communication skills are essential. French oral and written skills are an asset.
