Your Registration Renewal and Self-Directed Learning (SDL) Tool Portals are open from September 1 to October 31st, till 11:59pm. For more details, carefully read the email you have received from the College.

Be Ready with Your Password for Your Annual Renewal

If you have forgotten your password, or are not sure you remember it, please reset it:  Make sure the email address we have on file is current or you will not be able to change your password.
  1. On the login page, click on ‘Forgot My Password’
  2. You will be sent an email to the address we have on file for you with a link that will enable you to reset your password

Online Renewal Process and SDL Tool Completion

Detailed renewal information and your online renewal forms are accessible on your Member Dashboard from September 1st to October 31st at

Step 1: Enter your member ID and login to your Member Dashboard from the CDO website.  
Important: Before you start, clear the cookies and cache from your internet browser. An online search in your browser will show you how.

Step 2: Complete your SDL Tool.
You can access your online SDL Tool from your Member Dashboard from September 1st to October 31st.  Note that all SDL Tools submitted late will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance Committee for adequacy of content. For questions related to the SDL Tool, contact Bev Nopra, Quality Assurance Coordinator at

Step 3: Review and update your profile information. 
Access the renewal form by clicking ‘Renewal and Fee Payment’ under the Registration section of the Member Dashboard. Remember to update your contact information if you have moved, changed your work place or your email.
Step 4: Pay your annual membership fees.
Pay online by Visa or MasterCard in CAD only (Debit cards are not accepted). When on the payment page, please promptly submit your credit card details and ensure your internet browser language is set to English to avoid transmission errors. If you prefer to mail in your payment, include your member registration number on the cheque or money order. A late fee will apply if payment is not received at the College on or before October 31st.

NOTE: Employers who pay fees on behalf of a member must include the member's registration number with the cheque or money order. 

Step 5: Print Your Receipt.
Your receipt will be posted on your Member Dashboard within five business days of being processed, under Print Receipts. Once it is posted, you can download as many copies as needed, anytime.
