On June 24, 2021, the Colleges of Dietitians, Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists, welcomed health lawyer and health privacy expert Kate Dewhirst to provide insights into Ontario’s health privacy laws and the responsibilities of regulated health professionals.

In this webinar, Kate discusses upcoming changes to the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), how to prevent and address privacy breaches, and the responsibilities of the Health Information Custodian. Her webinar also addressed top privacy questions.
