premier Wynn initiatives for raising awareness of sexual abuse and harassment
As part of Premier Wynne's initiatives to raise awareness of sexual abuse and harassment, enhance prevention of sexual discrimination, harassment and violence and improve support for victims, the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care has created a task force on the prevention of sexual abuse of patients and the Regulated Health Professions Acts. In this context, the Minister requested that the health colleges of Ontario provide a report about the current operations of their Patient Relations Program as it relates to handling complaints of sexual abuse.
