Reg Talks Webinar on SMART Learning Goals

Posted: August 1, 2022

Publié le 1 August 2022

Join us for our next Reg Talks Webinars, where we will work on writing SMART goals!

Dietitians identify their learning needs as reflective professionals to maintain their continued competency in providing safe, competent, and ethical dietetic practice. Continuing competence reflects a commitment to lifelong learning.

The Quality Assurance Program recently developed a new SMART Learning Goals Template to help dietitians complete their annual Self-Directed Learning (SDL) Tool. The SDL Tool is intended to guide dietitians' reflection on their practice and professional competence and requires them to develop plans for professional improvement.

The College's Professional Practice Program will be holding two Regulatory talks ("Reg Talks") webinars on writing goals for Professional Development and continuing competence. There will be one session on July 12th and one on August 9th.  These are free online sessions providing dietitians with an opportunity for shared dialogue with the Professional Practice Program.

We invite all interested members and students to attend the Reg Talks webinar. We hope you will join us online!
